Emily Woolcott is a Solicitor with our Dispute Resolution, Property and Business teams. Emily started her legal career with Plastiras Lawyers whilst completing her law degree at QUT. After graduating law with Honours, Emily was admitted as a solicitor and commenced practising with our firm.
Emily works with the Dispute Resolution team assisting SMEs and individuals with various issues including, contract disputes, recovery of debts and consumer protection claims.
Working alongside Jim Burke, Emily advises on commercial law matters, such as leasing, commercial property sales and acquisitions, and business sales and acquisitions.
Emily also provides buyers and sellers of high end residential property with contract advice, due diligence investigations and settlements arrangements, and acts for buyers in large off plan developments within the Property projects team.
Following an international placement, Emily presented at the 2017 Asia Probono Conference conducting an interactive workshop on alternative dispute resolution techniques.
