James Dorman is a Solicitor with our Property and Business teams. James joined Plastiras Lawyers in 2024 after gaining extensive legal experience with a boutique Brisbane firm.

Property is a key area of James’ expertise. He acts for business owners and property investors on the sale and acquisition of residential, retail and commercial buildings and industrial property. His advice includes pre-signing contract advice, negotiations, contract preparation, due diligence investigations and settlements arrangements.

James also advises landlords and business owners with preparing and negotiating commercial and retail shop leases.

Working alongside Con Plastiras, James helps SMEs with their commercial law needs across various industries. This includes business sales and acquisitions, commercial agreements and contracts.
James’ key clients include high net worth individuals, property investors and small business owners.
