Con Plastiras

Con Plastiras is the founder and Principal of the firm, leading the Business, Property and Estate Planning teams.  Con founded Plastiras Lawyers in 1999 and has grown the firm organically since that time.  He has a wealth knowledge with almost 30 years experience.

Con specialises in property, business law, estate planning, and provides strategic advice to SMEs, business owners and high net worth individuals.  This expertise includes business and property sales and acquisitions, franchising, business structuring, succession planning and advising on legal issues arising in businesses.

His key clients include a major landlord with retail and commercial properties located Australia wide, a market wholesaler which distributes Australia wide and an aged care provider with homes in Queensland and New South Wales

Con also has strong property expertise in a wide range of advisory and large sale and acquisition transactional matters, such as property development sites, retail shopping centres, commercial property precincts, as well as retail and commercial leasing.

While he has helped a wide range of SMEs and business owner clients across various industries, Con has a particular interest in advising health professionals and health organisations, including the sale and purchase of health businesses, complex estate planning and asset protection plans, commercial property sales and acquisitions and providing key advisory services to health organisations.

Additionally, Con is well known for his work in estate planning and asset protection.  Since 1999, Con has lectured in the Estate Planning subject in the Master of Laws course at QUT.
